Plastics App Newsletter,Summer 2022

How are we helping companies get ultimate performance, reduce part weight, and lead-time?

We are hard at work, well equipped & capable, allowing many companies to take plastics parts to extremes.
For the last few years, we are developing a super resistant Ultem compound & 3D filament, with very special, tailor made properties.
After an intensive R&D work, we recently started serial production of a tailor made 3D Ultem filament, based on a compound we have developed and are now producing. We see mazing results. It looks like we are breaking boundaries with high mechanical strength, thermal stability and chemical resistance.
Very exited abut this accomplishment and we will be sharing more in our next updates

What Are Conductive Plastics?

Autonomous vehicles, electronics industry and others are constantly looking for Electrically conductive compounds to provide protection for electrostatic dissipation, conducting electrical signals and shielding from electromagnetic interference (EMI). For the last few months we are deeply involved in some of the top-notch conduction technologies compounding projects. With some, we even produce 3D filaments, print parts and test for resistance. We see very unique results and behavior, and will keep you all posted with our breakthroughs.

Some of the Most Surprising 3D Printing Materials

from q3 2021 we are offering our clients an unusual service, we make 3d filament from whatever materials they are already using,

so in the last few months we’ve been pushing the envelope of our extruders and machinery,
and made some crazy 3D filaments, from film’s materials, medical grade compounds, high-heat thermoplastics, recycled materials, medical grade plastics, and much more…
let us make you a filament from YOUR material.

STAGE 2

preparation of test specimens with relevance to the final application. Also serves a role in the processabilty evaluation and defining processing parameters of the final product.

Injection molding of samples from elastomers to high temperature materials into a temperature regulated mold. Filament production, from hundreds of grams to hundreds of kgs and printing samples for evaluation of print quality, parameters definition, and material properties. Blown film of a lab-scale bubble, to evaluate film quality and performance

STAGE 1

Twin screw extrusion of multiple samples for evaluation of composition (loading level %), processing parameters (Temp, RPM, Throughput), add-on sequence
(Main, Side, Liquid Inj) etc….

Capable of feeding pellets, powders, liquids, recycled materials and much more… Controlling the residance time, degree of mixing, and other process parameters Flexible down stream of water or air cooling for water sensitive materials
